Arsenal full-back Kieran Gibbs has completed his move from the Gunners to Premier League side West Bromwich Albion (via The Mirror).
As Arsenal finalise the sales of a number of first-team players including Shkodran Mustafi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, one more has completed a move away.
Kieran Gibbs has long been linked with a transfer away from the Emirates and he has finally gotten his way after completing a move to West Brom.
It ends a 13-year association between Gibbs and Arsenal FC after he was signed as a youth player after the dissolution of Wimbledon FC.
Arsenal will receive £7 million for the full-back from their Premier League rivals in a deal which has been a long time coming.
Gibbs has been linked with a move away from the club for some time after losing his place to Nacho Monreal several years ago. That situation has only gotten worse following the arrival of Sead Kolasinac.
It’s always a shame to see a committed player leave and Kieran Gibbs was exactly that for the club. The 27-year-old was professional right to the end and a solid player for the Gunners during his 230 appearances.
