[Photoshop] Shkodran Mustafi in Arsenal Colours

Arsenal are hot on Shkodran Mustafi’s tail at present, and it has become one of the summers most drawn out transfer sagas. Arsene Wenger has confirmed the Gunners are working hard to bring in the Valencia defender, and we’ve taken to photoshop to see what the German international would look like in Arsenal colours.

Arsenal badly need defensive reinforcements after suffering injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista, while Laurent Koscielny had a back problem as recently as Friday which was confirmed by Arsene Wenger after the Gunners 0-0 draw with Leicester City (via Arsenal.com).

Mustafi remains one of the Gunners top targets and following Wenger’s admission they are trying to get a deal done for the 24-year-old German there is hope he will join Arsenal this week.

The central defender certainly looks at home in red and white and could prove to be the perfect successor to Per Mertesacker who is now injured until the New Year and is the wrong side of 30.
