Reports suggest that both Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on signing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey with the player’s contract set to expire in 2019 (via The Metro).
It seems that no Arsenal player is safe at the club right now.
Almost every player at the club has been linked with a move away in the recent months and years and it seems that Aaron Ramsey is no different.
This summer will mark ten years since Ramsey joined the Gunners from Cardiff City and has been in fine form this season.
However, Ramsey’s current contract at the club is set to expire next summer and is yet to agree on a new deal.
Now, reports suggest that Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on a summer move for the Welsh midfielder with a rumoured price of £25 million cited.
It would be incredibly stupid of the club to let Aaron Ramsey leave, especially to a rival. The Welshman has been one of the club’s best players this season and at 27 years old, is entering the prime of his career. Let’s hope the club just pays up and offers him a new big money deal.
