Juventus Planning Move For Ozil

Juventus are planning to make a move for Mesut Ozil according to Italian outlet transfermarketweb.com.

The report claims that the Serie A champions have lost interest in signing Alexis Sanchez due to his wage demands which are above their budget but still have in mind a move for the Germany international.

Arsenal remain in negotiations with both players although Ozil has admitted recently that he is happy to stay at the club if Arsene Wenger remains as manager.

Wenger’s contract expires at the end of the season and he is yet to confirm whether he will stay on or opt to leave the club after 20 years at the helm.

Ozil has also admitted that he wants to wear the No.10 shirt at Arsenal, with some outlets claiming this could be a factor in his contract negotiations.

The World Cup winner is believed to have asked for £250,000-per-week to remain at Arsenal, which has drawn some criticism, although Ozil insists he is not worried by such comments.

The report also claims interest from Manchester United, although the chances of Arsenal selling Ozil to a direct Premier League rival, look slim at best.

Ozil is generally seen as the more likely of the two to sign on at Arsenal, with the German settled in London after his move to Real Madrid.

However, should the club be unable to give him any assurances on Wenger’s future it would certainly place a huge question mark over his future given his most recent comments.
