Marcelo Brozovic is apparently set to leave Inter Milan this summer, with the Premier League his destination, as reported by Tuttosport (via the Daily Star).
The report suggests Inter are looking to bring in an experienced veteran, with the Italian side hopeful they can lure someone like Yaya Toure or Joao Moutinho to the club as they potentially approach the twilight of their careers.
Brozovic will apparently be sacrificed to accommodate one of these stars, with the Serie A side hoping to get an £18.3m fee for him this summer.
He’s also certainly “on his way to the Premier League”, although the club he’ll end up at is yet to be determined.
That said, we’re reportedly the favourites, with Arsene Wenger extremely keen on the midfielder. We’ve been linked with him in the past, and the manager is apparently looking to reignite his interest.
He’s currently only on loan from Dinamo Zagreb, but Inter have an obligation to sign him once the loan ends at the close of the season. They’re looking to offload him immediately however, and see Arsenal as their best option to do so.

Brozovic seems like a Wenger signing, as he’s a bit of a jack of all trades midfielder. He’s excellent on the ball, has a great touch, and a solid passing range. He’s primarily a box-to-box midfielder, but he doesn’t have the mobility, defensive quality, or creative ability to really carve out a specific role. He’s certainly talented, but whether he’d fit in at Arsenal is questionable.
