Manchester United are said to be keen on signing Aaron Ramsey as the Welshman’s contract talks with Arsenal stall (via The Mirror).
The contract situation with Aaron Ramsey at Arsenal doesn’t look like it will be resolved any time soon.
The Welshman’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season but is showing little desire to sign a new contract with the Gunners.
He has been at the club since 2008 but talks between Arsenal and the player have seemingly stalled, despite previous reports that the club was confident of him staying.
Now, The Mirror has claimed that Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in the 27-year-old.
Both clubs signed players from Arsenal in January of this year with Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud heading for the Emirates exit door.
It’s unclear whether there is any truth in these reports. Arsenal and Unai Emery are clearly keen on keeping Aaron Ramsey at the club but if he is refusing to sign a new deal then he should be sold in January for as much money as possible.
