Arsenal’s new head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat has reportedly recommended eight targets for the club to sign in the summer (via Football London).
Arsenal are in need of a fairly major squad overhaul and it seems that a lot of it will happen this summer.
The Gunners have several fringe players who are in need of an upgrade and a couple of first-team spots which need replacement.
Many Arsenal fans have become quietly confident in the club’s ability since the acquisition of Sven Mislintat from Borussia Dortmund last year.
Now, reports suggest that the club’s head of recruitment has identified eight targets which he thinks can improve Arsenal.
Known targets like Max Meyer and Bernd Leno are on the list, as is the impressive 21-year-old Abdou Diallo.
Midfielder Kerem Demirbay is also on the list which is dominated by defensive targets. Ohis Felix Uduokhai, Caglar Soyuncu and Benjamin Pavard all feature on this reported shopping list.
The biggest name player on the list is undoubtedly Ousmane Dembele who joined FC Barcelona from Mislintat’s former club, Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Some of these players would be incredible signings for Arsenal. If the Gunners went out and bought Max Meyer, Bernd Leno and Abdou Diallo in the summer then the starting eleven would be drastically improved.
