Arsenal have been given fresh hope in their pursuit of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar with reports that Monaco could still sell the youngster before the close of the transfer window.
According to Le 10 Sport, Monaco could be set for a busy end to August with Lemar, Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho all potentially leaving the club.
Arsenal have seemingly pursued Lemar for some time now and have reportedly had a number of bids rejected with the French champions keen to keep hold of the 21-year-old.
The report claims that Arsenal could make a strong, late approach for Lemar and that his departure should not be ruled out.
Meanwhile, Mbappe and Fabinho are both being heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and it seems Monaco will be bracing themselves for a potentially dramatic few days.
It certainly seems there is a lot of business still to be done as we head towards the end of the transfer window, with the futures of many players still uncertain.
Arsene Wenger has hinted he many have to sell before he can buy and will be hoping to offload some of his squad players in the coming days.
Should Lemar arrive, and join Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac at the Emirates, it would certainly represent a successful summer transfer-wise for the Gunners.
